Founded in 2022, Tikall is a Swiss insurance intermediary registered with FINMA. We combine technical expertise and knowledge of international capacity markets to design insurance programmes tailored to exposed and regulated professions.
Our story
An entrepreneurial mindset.
Founded in 2022, Tikall brings together a technical understanding of risk, underwriting and insurance solutions structuring. Risk transfer, portfolio analysis, modelling, data science: we build an independent, analytical view of insurance, informed by deep knowledge of international capacity markets.
Rooted in Switzerland.
Based in Zürich, Tikall combines the rigour of the Swiss insurance market with international exposure. A local presence, FINMA supervision, and a deep understanding of brokers' and their clients' needs on the ground.

We design insurance programmes for niche markets that generalist insurers overlook. Each product is co-developed with representatives of the professions concerned, to meet real and non-standardised needs.
Co-development and partnership
We do not replace the broker. We give them the underwriting capacity and technology to advise their clients with precision. The client relationship remains in their hands.
Expertise and pricing transparency
Our pricing is based on proprietary actuarial models, refined product by product. Every premium is calculated from real data and recalibrated continuously. No standardised rate tables, no black box.

Timothée Tournier
CEO
Timothée specialised in medical malpractice from the outset of his career, working with one of the leading insurers of French public hospitals. There, he gained in-depth knowledge of the international insurance markets and developed a data-driven approach to risk. In 2023, he co-founded Tikall in Switzerland, a firm dedicated to designing insurance solutions, bringing this expertise to the Swiss market.
Pierre Franck
Co-founder
20+ years of experience · Paris / London / Zurich Pierre spent ten years in a range of technical roles in reinsurance, then at one of France's largest insurance brokers. In 2014, he founded a brokerage dedicated to French public authorities which, with the support of the London market, became one of the leaders in its sector. Seven years later, Pierre sold his stake and reinvested the proceeds of this first exit in several start-ups and insurance ventures.
